The workshops cover targeting exercises with both paws and nose and tricks including shake, beg, play dead, roll over, hoop jumping, walking backwards pushing a pram, riding a skateboard and more! Puppies and young dogs are welcome as well as older motivated canines. You only need high value treats or toys, a normal collar and a list of what you would like your dogs to learn. Scent Detection Workshops Do you want to stimulate your dogs senses? Does your dog love to sniff? These workshops teach you how to use your dogs strongest sense to stimulate them. The workshop includes explanation of the dogs scenting capabilities, a demonstration by a trained scent detection dog and then a variety of techniques are introduced to get the best from your dogs nose as they seek out a scent of your choice. Any dog can participate in scent detection and it’s a great way to improve your handling and relationship with your dog! Your dog doesn’t need any obedience skills- although a reliable sit (even just for food) is very advantageous.
